About
I am currently a PhD candidate in the Philosophy Department and the Religious Studies Department at Yale.
The working title of my dissertation project is "Finite Minds as Little Gods: Leibniz on Final Causation, Moral Necessity, and Freedom."
I received an M.A. degree in philosophy and American studies from the University of Göttingen, Germany in 2008; the title of my thesis was "Religion und menschliche Freiheit: die Debatte zwischen Descartes, Gassendi und Hobbes" ("Religion and Human Freedom: The Debate between Descartes, Gassendi, and Hobbes").
