About
My research interests are based mainly upon Medieval Spanish Literature (Mester de clerecía), medieval apocalypticism in Spain, religion and literature, cultures in contacts in medieval Al Andalus, the Art of memory, Magic and Astrology, Rhetoric and Medieval Literary Theory. During my years at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in Lima, I worked on Colonial Latin American Literature, especially on Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz under the advising of José Antonio Rodríguez Garrido (PhD, Princeton University). As part of a group led by him, I took part of the transcription and edition of the sermons by Juan de Espinosa Medrano. A couple of articles have been published by me both in Peru and in Chile on the Inca Garcilaso and Sor Juana
