Thesis Title: The effects of stress on communities: Using modern and fossil data to explore community response

About

My research interests center around biotic interactions in the fossil record including: predation, competition, encrustation, parasitism, trophic interactions, community structure, etc. Intervals of biotic change, such as adaptive radiations and mass extinctions, provide unique conditions which can be used to test the response of organisms during unique stimuli. The challenge of detecting and interpreting the patterns and processes of ancient communities drives my research and fuels my continuing interest in new questions.
